Ok…
Now think of how Obi Wan left Anakin to burn and die in Mustafar, saying “You were my brother, Anakin!”
There were whispers that you’d been killed.
Looking at how much time Anakin spent at various battlefields & front lines, I can’t stop to wonder how often Padme had to wait for reliabe info about his condition and how she coped with the rumors that Skywalker was killed (or missing) in action.
Once I read a nice article/essay/post/whatever about American Heist and how James was in some kind of Purgatory.
